With "SnP - Stream and Page", our customers are in a position to further rely on their own, approved personal paging system. There is no need to change to another expensive technology such as inhouse GSM or similar products. When you call a team-mate or a colleague who is away from his desk, you will receive a voice response, telling you that the system is paging the person for you. The called person receives a pager message which informs him about the phone call. The called person can answer this phone call from any telephone in the company. If the call is not answered, it can be forwarded to a reception, for instance.

The receptionist will be informed with a text message about the phone call and the relevant details (who forwarded the message for what reason).

The solution is unique due to its flexibility. Configurations can be performed easily and each setting may be adjusted to individual specific demands and future needs.

The textual, visual and acoustic features of the SnP solution also highly improve the transparency of the communication processes inside your company.

• The ESPA 4.4.4 protocol standard is used for paging. SnP works with most paging systems. So far, SnP has been tested with Ascom, Funktel & Swissphone.
• Streamed audio informational messages can be encoded with the standards G.711 or G.729.
• By making use of Cisco IP phone services, information text messages are forwarded to operators, callee etc.
• The core server component can optionally be installed in a redundant two-server master/slave setup
• All administrative tasks (user/pager management) are done via a secured, intuitive and powerful web interface.
• All pager actions are logged (snmp, syslog) to track missed or unanswered calls for trouble-shooting purposes
• An interface that sends messages via TCP socket allows to send individual text messages with the normal paging function.
